I keep thinking to myself that honestly while the characters and the places mentioned are kind of flat at times the ideas behind them are almost as seen as POV characters travelling around various MMO worlds and could be its own MMO fairly easily. I read the Last Stand almost 15 years ago now, (but will be rereading it once I am done the Neural Atrocity, which should be later this afternoon) and am thinking how the flatness of the original trilogy at times is more of a feature than a bug if you look at it in that sort of context.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
