I just finished re-reading a childhood favourite, Erik Bergaust's 1974 The Next 50 Years on the Moon. I missed the end of the world as I knew it... & I feel sick. ~V~
It is a sad state of affairs. I think it was Foucault who said, "In a civilization without ships the dreams dry up, espionage takes the place of adventure and the police that of corsairs." I feel like that's where we're at now as a society.
